This stage is where your custom home starts to take on the shape and look of the finished product.
The insulation is installed first. Now this may seem obvious but make sure that you have included the details of every space you want insulated.
That may mean ceiling space above a family room that is under bedrooms to provide a bit of noise insulation.
If there are areas of the custom home that require extra sound proofing, such as a music room, this is the time to have it done. Drain pipes in bathrooms and kitchens may need extra soundproofing as well.
Now the drywall can go up and once that is complete, painting staining and installation of cabinets, countertops and hard surface flooring and baseboards takes place. If appliances are built in this may be done also.
